Churinga, also spelled as Tjuringa or Tjurunga, are sacred objects representing ancestors, linking to the other world. This example features a fine, smooth patina from handling, with incised tribal designs known as Emu tracks on one side and water symbols on the other. Finely carved in a slightly concave, elliptical shape.
