A delicate, femimine necklace of a single strand of small colbalt “Russian” blue beads interspersed with rare .75 in./ 2 cm long Russian blue beads. All on a new handwoven closure. The beads were originally traded all over the world.

While the beads are called Russian blues they were made in Checkoslavakia. They were produced as canes, faceted and cut into beads. In Alaska, the Russians traded the beads to the Native Americans for pelts and other needs.
