Our Story

Callie and Sheridan Oakes’ gallery is located in the Islais Creek neighborhood of San Francisco’s central waterfront. Our love affair with tribal art began in 1987 from humble beginnings. While making custom bases for dealers and collectors, we quickly became enamored with the artistry, range, and sheer beauty of tribal objects. Since then, our business has blossomed into a multi-faceted enterprise: the Morgan Oakes tribal art and design gallery, and the Other Options custom display stand workshop, now both located in a singular destination.
